About
Tower Notes started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept arguing about the best wave layouts. The arguments never really stopped, so we turned them into articles. Everything you read here comes from real sessions on real phones, not press kits.
We focus on strategy and tower defence because those genres reward patience and planning, and they translate beautifully to touchscreens when done right. But we also cover neighbours: RPGs with tactical combat, racing games with clever upgrade trees, and the odd cosy simulator when it grabs us.,Games get into the catalogue only after someone on the team has put in serious hours. We look at controls, pacing, how fair the difficulty curve feels, and whether the game respects your time. If a title annoys us, we say so.,Nobody here is a corporation. It's a small editorial group that loves the tap-tap-panic of a wave you almost lose. We pay for our own devices and pick games ourselves.
Marek Halászi — Marek has been building tower layouts since the flash era and now leads the Tower Notes team. He still refuses to use the auto-place button on principle.
