Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is slower and stranger than most mobile games, and that's the point. You wander a drowned city with a single lantern, solving light environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened here. There's no combat and no timer pushing you along.

The touch controls are minimal: tap to move, swipe to look, hold to interact. It works because the game never demands precision. Instead it asks you to notice things, which suits playing in short, calm sessions.

It won't be for everyone, but if you want an atmospheric wind-down game, this is one of the best on the platform. We finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted more.
